Our Commitment
Emerald Thinker Gallery is committed to making emeraldthinker.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. Art should be open to everyone, and so should the way we share it.
Standards We Work Toward
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review our pages and update them as we improve.
What We Do
- Use clear headings and a consistent layout across pages
- Provide text alternatives for images where possible, including descriptions of artwork
- Maintain readable text sizes and strong color contrast
- Support keyboard navigation and screen readers
- Design pages to adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels
Describing Artwork
Because visual art is central to what we do, we want everyone to be able to understand it. If an image or description is not clear to you, contact us and we will gladly provide a fuller written description of the work, its colors, composition, scale, and materials.
Known Limitations
Some content may not yet be fully accessible, including certain older pages, third-party tools such as payment and embedded services, and some images. We are working to improve these areas.
