Primary Sales of Easton Cain’s
Original Oil Paintings Are Now Closed
Between February 2025 and January 2026, Easton Cain sold out of a significant portion of his archived original oil paintings, drawn from more than a decade of work. As a result of this sustained demand and the rapid placement of these works into private and gallery collections, Emerald Thinker Gallery is now closing the sale of Cain’s original oil paintings indefinitely.
Going forward, Cain will continue working toward major exhibitions across the United States and internationally. While original oil paintings are no longer available for acquisition, the artist will begin releasing a selection of watercolor studies and sketches that formed the foundation of his now widely recognized American Regionalism Revival body of work. These works offer collectors insight into the development of his larger paintings and the process behind them.
In addition, a limited edition release is planned for later this year. Details will be announced separately.
We sincerely appreciate the many inquiries we have received regarding the acquisition of Easton Cain’s original works. At present, all placed works are being formally documented and cataloged through the Emerald Vault, our new provenance and ownership platform, which is establishing a complete historical record of Cain’s work and its placement.
This transition reflects a new phase in the artist’s career—one focused on institutional exhibitions, long-term projects, and the careful stewardship of a body of work that has now entered a more mature and structured market stage.
